Meet Nive

I've been teaching math
for over 15 years.

Within those numerous years of teaching I have assisted hundreds of students who learn in different ways. Visual, auditory, participatory, and passive learners. I have watched students shut down the moment they feel stuck, and I will coach them to reflect, recall and name what they might actually know and where they might need clarity and how they need to access the information they need and how to apply them as they are.

Moreover, I will assist any student with their executive functioning skills, such as organization, consistency, focus, how to approach difficult problems and concepts without immediate anxiety, and ultimately to reflect on the student's stretch and growth areas, and how to leverage their strengths to build a path towards success.

Every session ends with a celebration of what a student did well, as growth is not just about fixing gaps. It is about seeing progress and believing in it.
